Federal tax refund not what was reported and was not notified by turbo tax or application

@launchpadmq  - can you please provide more details.  Understand that there is no feedback loop from the IRS to Turbo Tax.  For reasons of confidentiality, the IRS will not communicate anything about your tax return to anyone, not even Turbo Tax, other than you, and they will only do that by mail.

please post back the answers to the following and I can probably guide you to the issue

1) what is the EXACT amount of the adjustment the IRS made to your refund/ amount due.

2) what is on Line 28 of Form 1040?

3) what is on Line 30 of Form 1040?

if you can wait, in 2 to 4 weeks you should get notified by the IRS of the reason for the change.
