Fed. Tax return form question

On the federal tax return you do not say when you had health insurance. You do not enter Form 1095-B in your tax return. If you had insurance from the Marketplace ("Obamacare") you would get a 1095-A, which you do have to enter.

Some states require you to say when you did or did not have health insurance. If your state requires that information, there will be a question about it in the state interview. If you need more help with the state, you have to say which state it is. Every state is different.
