Look at your actual state tax return to verify what your expected refund amount was.  If your state tax agency reduced your state refund, you should get a letter from them in about 3 weeks or so explaining why.   The letter should also explain what recourse you have if you disagree.  If you want to see if you can get info sooner than that, you can phone your state tax agency to inquire.
