Did not file 1 of 2 Forms 1098 in 2017. Can I add it to my 2018 return?

Refinanced mortgage in 2017 and received 2 separate 1098's. I only entered 1 of them on my return last year and just realized I did not enter the 2nd one. Can I add it to my 2018 return? If so, Where should I enter it and how should I communicate that it was left off last years return?

No, you cannot add a 2017 Form 1098 to your 2018 Tax Return.

However, you can Amend your 2017 Tax Return to include the additional mortgage interest reported on your 2nd Form 1098.  You can click here for instructions on Amending your tax return: How to Change a Tax Return You Already Filed.  TurboTax will walk you through Amending your State Tax as well.
