I claimed my son who was a working, full-time student in tax years 2017 (2018 filing) and 2018 (2019) filing. He aged out, no more school and was working for the 2019 tax year (2020 filing) and just filed his return April 15, 2020 as independent, single filer. Relief checks just went out. Will they catch up and get him one based of this 2019 tax year filing? Do we need to do anything further? Or will he be out of luck based on the 2019 filing for the 2018 tax year?
