Child tax credit - do I submit what is on Box 1 of my letter per the request or do I submit the actual amount deposited in my bank account?

Hopefully those are the same amount. One note, if you are this year, or did last year, married filing jointly, each of you will get a letter reporting your half of the advance Child Tax Credit.

The IRS says to report what is on your letter, or your return will be delayed.
