Can I cancel or delete my accepted amended return?

I was wrongly advised by an IRS rep to file an amended 2021 return and it has delayed my original returns processing. Is there anyway to cancel or delete the amended return? Or talk with someone in the processing department to cancel it?

Once you have filed a return you can’t recall it.
