Amending return - But all info has vanished?

Hi there,

I have already filed a 2021 return using TurboTax and have received a refund.

Now, I need to file an amended return.

I open TurboTax, select "New Tax Return" from the File menu and click "Amend a return."

I click "Continue," then "Yes I've already filed return" and "I need to amend 2021 return," and "continue."

It says "What do you need to change on your return?" and gives list of sections with "Update" buttons.

The problem is.... It's a ghost town in there - no information exists whatsoever. Surely it should have imported my 2021 return to start from so I can make selected changes?

How can I link it back up... and populate this amended return with the original file's info?

UPDATE: Apparently it needed a reboot... TurboTax had applied an update. Looks linked up now.

If you select "New Tax Return", you should not be surprised it is empty.

You need to "select" the tax file for the return you filed.
