Software: 2023 Turbotax Premier DESKTOP for MAC (with current updates).
Objective: Amend 2023 Minnesota state return only (not Fed).
Steps taken: Made copy of original Ttax file, searched "Amend" which opened dialog, chose "State Only". Ttax dialog essentially shows you a window of the exact M1X form (MN Amendment of the M1) and says to make your changes on the form. But, both in Dialog mode and in Forms mode, the M1X column B (which is where the add/sub changes need to be entered) is black (locked) not blue (editable). [Note that column A "as originally filed or previous amendment" is blue and able to be edited - which I suppose it might need to be if, for example, one happened to file a paper amendment not in Ttax. But that is not what I need to change.]
Net: Unable to file a 2023 MN amendment due to what I believe is a software glitch (locked fields where the changes need to be entered). Hard to believe I am the first MN resident needing to amend 2023 in Ttax Premier mac desktop!
Anyone know of any workarounds? I did try Override (knowing that negates e-filing but if it would just calc the tax I could paper file), but those cells do not even allow that.

If you hover the field you can't edit, is there a magnifying glass button that will take you to the supporting form where you can make the entry? What are you trying to edit or what credit are you trying to amend for?
If it is something that requires changing the federal return, you may need to make the change in the federal section instead of choosing State Return on the screen below.
