Amend

I recently did my taxes back in January before they were accepting and right away irs accepted it and once they opened I was checking consistently, well I got my state refund and found it to be less but upon after looking I realized I had inputted the wrong years w2 info I used my 2021 not 2023's but my agi was only roughly 800 difference. The tracker hasn't changed should I wait til they finish with it? Or do I amend it? The state adjusted it for me will the IRS do the same?
