I received a W 2 from a company I did not work for in 2019. They paid me money that was not for me after all but no one ever reached out to me saying they needed it back or it wasn’t mine to begin with. I did not input the W2 because i had already filed my taxes and didn’t know if I could with it being an error that I didn’t work for them. How should I go about this?

You should wait to see if the IRS sends you a notice that you have not reported the W-2. At that time you can explain to the IRS that this was not your W-2. They will then contact the business that issued you the W-2 to correct ther error.
If it has your name and social security number on it you can be pro active and contact the IRS
