Amend a federal form filed regarding social security put in 2024 widows benefits rather then 2023.

They earlier said to open and file an amendment it won’t open.

Please clarify your question so we can provide a more helpful answer.  Have you filed your 2023 tax return and has it been accepted?  Who said to open and file an amendment and what would not open?
