All other info transferred from 2022, except for my State of Hawaii tax return

All my data from last year's tax return, 2022, seems to be good.  After near finishing my State return, it asks me if I received a State return, then I have to manually enter my return.  Why didn't your program automatically detect and import this information?

Yes, your State of Hawaii State Refund amount should have transferred over into your 2023 return.

This may happen if you used the Standard Deduction last year, and are using it again this year.

Your state tax refund would not be taxable in either case.
