Social Security Benefits Worksheet

Assuming that your filing status is Single with no income other than the stated Social Security income, then for 2017, none of the Social Security income would be taxable.  Expect the same result for next year as long as you are Single.  If you file as Married Filing Jointly, then your spouse's income needs to be included in the process to determine the taxable portion of your Social Security.
