This is the way to go. Simply go directly to the IRS website. TT is deficient in this area.

No, not good enough. TT should provide a direct link to the IRS website to free file an extension.

Indeed. You can e-file, but it's as if you have to use a work-around. Absurd! TT must fix and include an e-file option in the software.

Absolutely should be fixed. There is no reason why TT shouldn't have an e-file option within the software.

This last answer is pathetic. The "More Details" link does not work! No, you should not "need to contact our customer service directly via phone". Fix The Link!
