Don't have 1099 Misc income.
Turbo Tax won't let us say NO for 1099 Misc Income. Keeps reverting to a YES.
Several threads on this. Many of us having this issue, it's not a clear cookies, clear cache, sign out, try again issue.
It's a turbo tax bug.
When will this be fixed??

I have not encountered this particular issue with the Schedule C. I do see that once you open the 1099-MISC screen, it has the "yes" button checked regardless of whether the user subsequently enters "no". It didn't cause a Federal Review error in my test. Are you having issues with passing Review as a result of this issue?
A different issue with 1099-MISC, where entering it brought up a "something went wrong" error, has already been fixed.
I am reporting it for further review.
Thanks a ton for response!
No, it's not affecting the federal review - but I don't want a YES carried forward to next year.
More importantly, it could be the reason why so many of us are getting that NEEDS REVIEW with regard to Business Income and Expenses ' Needs Review'?
Business Income and Expenses:
Profit and Loss from Business 2024........ 'Needs Review.'
Multiple people are getting that needs review message and per posts we've all all done several checks, updates, cookies deleted etc.
Again, appreciate your response and reporting the 1099 issue Turbo Tax.
Would also truly appreciate you reporting the NEEDS REVIEW issue. It's affecting a lot of us.
Thank you for your valued feedback. I have reported the 1099-MISC issue. We are aware of the Needs Review issue, and our developers are actively looking into it.
Thank you.
Turbo Tax says I have a 1099-Misc in my return, but I don't. This is preventing me from e-filing my state return in Arkansas. Is there a solution for this glitch?
Try deleting this form from your tax return file. Use the link below for your version of TurboTax to delete a form.
Once deleted, try to file your Arkansas return again and then update here if you want additional assistance. Be sure to include details.
