The program is asking us for information regarding a 1099-NEC - however, we do not have a 1099-NEC. We do have a 1099-MISC and have already completed that information.

Turbotax will not let me continue without entering the information

You may have a Form 1099-NEC in you program in error. If so, you can delete it by following these steps:

1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar while working on your return

2. Choose Tools

3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links

4. Find the Form 1099-NEC in the list and delete it
