Tax Form for Receiving Income in US Dollars From an International Online Site

I am hoping to sell printables on an online platform based in the UK.  However, I am currently living in the US, am a US citizen, and the income I would receive as a salary would be deposited to my account in the US.  What form would I need to fill out next year for tax season (for that source of income) since I would be receiving the income in US dollars but from an international online site?

Tax Form for Receiving Income in US Dollars From an International Online Site

There is no special tax form to declare this income.

This income is considered as self-employed income by the IRS.

You report this income you received in cash, checks or bank transfers or without a 1099-NEC as self-employed income under Other self-employed income.

  1. In business income, just under Type of Income, click on Add Income for this work
  2. On the next page, click on the radio button next to Other Self-employed Income
  3. Click Continue to enter your income received in cash, checks or bank transfers.

If you have expenses related to this business, you can deduct them.

To report your business income and expenses, you'll need to use TurboTax Deluxe or TurboTax Premium (Online) if you have expenses to deduct or any version of TurboTax (CD/Download).
