I have a few questions that'd I'd really appreciate the answer to. I recently started working with doordash.
1. Do I file quarterly taxes even if I started working August 2023?
2. Can I file straight through the IRS website, should I use the estimated tax calculator?
3. Do I seperate my tips from base pay?
4. I've been writing down my miles everytime I go deliver and pickup food, can I also count the miles it took to drive back home?
I'm sure I'm forgetting other important questions I've been wanting to ask all week, please input any advice you may have for me. I want to do this right and I enjoy doordashing.
Thank you so much.

You would need to pay quarterly estimated taxes if
If you need to file estimated taxes you can pay them directly to the IRS at https://www.irs.gov/payments on Form 1040-ES.
Doordash should send you an end-of-year statement that shows your total income and miles driven. You would include tips in your total income figure on your tax return.
