Independent Contractor Deductions

I work as a personal assistant and am an independent contractor. I mainly work from home, but will sometimes drive to my boss's house to work or drive to other places to run errands. Can I write off the mileage for that?

independent contractors don't have bosses.....if you are an contractor you can write off mileage but not personal or commuting mileage....if you have a home office you can write off trips to other locations you are required to drive to for business.
