Income reported on 1099-nec

Hi, I have a question about what was reported on my 1099-nec. I'm an independent contractor with a massage company & I also have my own practice. The owner of the company I contract with started receiving massages with me on their own accord. I charge them my price they pay my business directly with a card payment, as any other client would do. Their session payments are already apart of my private practice income that I report but they added those charges on my 1099 because the card/money used was their business account. Is that something they can do? Also would it now have me paying taxes twice on the amount they spent since they reported it as well as the credit card company?

If this were a business expense, this would be something they could do. Simply omit one of the payment sources or include it and back it out as a miscellaneous expense with the explanation of income reported twice.
