Clergy Housing Allowance, W2 and Self Employment

I was prompted to enter my Clergy Housing Allowance/Parsonage Allowance, along with qualified expenses with my W2. When I'm in the Self Employment section for Clergy, it asks me for the housing allowance again, but indicates not to include "amounts attributable to income entered on another form."

Should I leave this section blank, since I have already entered my allowance information?

Yes just leave it blank because you do not want to duplicate the deduction.

Rather than duplicating the deduction, it seems to duplicate the tax liability on the housing allowance when I enter it the second time.  When I enter the housing allowance in the W2 section, the federal tax liability goes up.  Then if I enter it again in the Self Employment section, the federal liability goes up again.

So I am correct to leave it blank in Self Employment, since I have already entered it in W2?

Yes, leave it blank.  The program has two places where you can enter the housing allowance because it isn't always reported on Form W-2.  You should not enter it twice.  You can enter in either place, but only enter once.
