I'm coming across multiple web sites that say modular relocatable buildings qualify for bonus depreciation now.

"Under the tax law, Starrco modular systems qualify as tangible personal property because, unlike permanent structures (designated as real property), modular buildings and offices can be fully dismantled, relocated and reassembled. This means you can depreciate a Starrco modular building in the same way as other capital equipment such as forklifts, rack and machinery."

so my question is- I have a behlen curvette bolt together quonset hut. It can be "fully dismantled, relocated and reassembled" would it qualify? and if so, where can I find supporting documentation?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
I would seek the advice of a CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, etc., that would be knowledgeable in this area of law. This is complicated. It involves knowledge of the law and knowledge of the building.
