property sale and ssi benefits

My husband is on ssi and we are now in the process of closing our business. I want to start my ssi , but am worried about having to pay a lot back when I sell the business property. Does this sale count as income in relationship to ssi benefits?

This income is not counted in the calculation for determining your benefit (PIA) because it is not subject to Social Security tax. This income will be counted to detetmine the amount of benefits that may be subject to income taxation, however.
