Mistake on 2023 solo 401k employer match made in 2024

I made a mistake on my contributions for 2023 401k employer match made in 2024.  My 401k reporting company and my tax forms had it as $9628 and I messed up and ended up contributing $9268- I transposed the last 3 numbers on my check.  Anyways, I am $360 short for the contributions I should have made for my Solo 401K for 2023.  The reporting company is wanting me to do this and said that they would make the notes to reflect that it was for 2023.

Am I able to add the $360 to my 401k now even though I am past the April 15 2024 deadline?  Maybe an honest mistake clause, lol, that would understand that I was going through a lot with cancer treatments and mis-wrote the check.

Or should I have should I have them change my solo 401K report to what I actually deposited, and amend the tax return for 2023 and pay whatever penalty me there may be.

I would greatly appreciate your advice.  I tried to call the IRS to get an answer for this, but their AI would not let me talk to a person.  Kept saying it understood complete sentences and ask it what I wanted to know and it  would direct me to the right person.  I did as asked.  Then it wouldn't get me to anyone and would say something along the lines of - if we can't understand what you are needing, we won't direct you to anyone and will have to end this call.   GRRR!!!!  Don't like humans being replaced with AI  that says it understands sentences and obviously doesn't!!!
