I am preparing a tax return with listed property. The vehicle was placed in service in 2020. Total cost was $47000 We deducted $18100 in the first year. The depreciable basis is now $28900. Vehicle used 100% for business.
Why is Turbo Tax calculating zero depreciation expense for 2021? I read the rules and I though the deduction should be $9700. Am I missing something?

It's possible you didn't complete the interview for this vehicle or answered a question that resulted in no depreciation. You may wish to return to that area of your return and go through the pages again.
Also, if you are using TurboTax CD/Download for desktop, you can use Forms Mode to view the Car & Truck Worksheet for your business.
Scroll down to Part VI - Vehicle Depreciation Information and review the result on Line 38. You can edit any numbers or checkmarks in blue. Those in black are calculated or entered elsewhere and cannot be changed. Right-click on an entry and use Data Source to see where the entry was made. Go to that form to change your answer if necessary.

Thank you for your suggestions. I compared the questions on the car & truck worksheet from last year to this year and I had to change a couple of them. Once I did that, the depreciation calculated correctly.
