Is TurboTax right for me?

My accountant just announced he’s retiring and I’m interested in filing my own 2024 federal and Georgia state returns using online resources but I’m in an atypical situation:

- I’m self-employed with a combination of 1099 income, cash receipts, nominal business expenses and a solo 401K

- I have K-1 form 1065 income from an LLC

- The rest of my income is routine interest, dividends, etc.

Based on what I’ve described do you think I can file with TurboTax and if so what would the version be so I can compare costs?

Thanks!

@Funtz , whereas I am not familiar with the TurboTax On-Line versions ( but assuming  functional equivalency ), I am pretty sure that  the downloaded/ CD  windows version(s)  can do a very job in your situation.  Assuming that you are not  very familiar with  tax prep software ( pardon me if I am wrong ), I would strongly suggest  downloading the 2023 version of    TurboTax ( Windows Home & Business is my favorite ) and  compare preparing your 2023 return.  This will  allow you to understand what your accountant did and why  and also produce a file that can be  used as starting point for the 2024 return.  This also means that if there are differences  in the filed version and that produced by TurboTax, you can  talk to your accountant to understand why and/or what to do for your 2024 return.

This also means that while you start with perhaps the most capable version, as you gain experience , you can go down to the level  that you really need ( and save some monies ).

That nis my view.
