I uploaded my 10999 misc form. What is required in box 3 on the line "schedule c"

I have put the total amount of "other income" but that isn't working

What were you issued the 1099-MISC for? The system is deciding that the money was for self-employment work and is assigning it to a schedule C which is the self-employment form. But if it was not money that you were trying to earn then it may be 'Other Income' and you can skip the schedule C.
