I'm trying to input $200 in expenses for a 1099-NEC. How can I add this information without upgrading to the Live Self-Employed? Thanks.

Expenses reported against self-employment income on IRS Form 1040 Schedule C may be reported on TurboTax Online Self-employed or TurboTax CD/Download Home and Business.

The IRS presumes that 1099-NEC income is self-employment income that is subject to:

  • Self-employment income computed on Schedule SE. as well as
  • Income tax computed on IRS Form 1040.
