You'd use the same 1040-series to file your tax return, but generally, you'd know if an entity had changed your status from contractor (that is, self-employed) to employee (issued a Form W-2).

Among other things that would've been necessary, an employer would've asked you to complete a Form W-4, Employee's Withholding Certificate to allow the employer to compute withholding. You might want to contact the payer of the form, just to make sure your employment status is correct.

That said, to enter Form W-2 wages and salaries in TurboTax Online:

  1. If you don’t see 2022 TAXES in the left pane, select the dropdown to the right of Income & Expenses on the Hi, let’s keep working on your taxes! page and then select Let’s get startedPick up where you left off, or Review/Edit.
    • Otherwise, in the left pane, select Wages & Income
  2. Scroll down and select the Show more dropdown to the right of Wages and Salaries
  3. Select  Edit, Edit/Add or Revisit to the right of Wages and Salaries (W-2)
  4. From here, you can input/delete/edit any information necessary.

See the TurboTax Help article How do I import or enter my W-2? for alternative entry guidance.

You should also be aware that, if you're an employee, you aren't allowed to deduct work expenses, as you might have done as a contractor.  Please see the TurboTax Help article Can employees deduct any job-related expenses? for more information.
