I am self employed and no one I worked for sent me a 1099.

You can be self-employed and report your income without having any official tax forms such as a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC.

 

As you go through the Schedule C Business Income and Expenses section of your return, indicate that your income was from cash transactions.  You should be keeping a record of the income that you have received during the year, including who paid you, how much, and the date paid.  It is important to keep track of this in case the IRS requests it.
