How do I deduct home office when I have rentals and I qualify for QBI? Self employment office deduction doesn't work as my income is not self employment, but rent.

@marjamjk  under the current tax laws , the only way you can justify / deduct home office expenses ( the place ) e, supplies etc. )  is to be a business / self-employed  i.e. active income  ( and subject to 15.3% SECA  additional; tax  -- equivalent to FICA for wage earners ).
