I submited my taxes and I forgot to to include income as a self employed, I had a w-2 but half way in the year, I started working with a family member as a helper and was getting paid weekly. What form should I include on my 1040? I worked for 9 months in 2020 as self employed. My family member will make me a 1099 but he wants me to amend so I can add what he has paid me. Do I need to file a schedule c if im not the owner of the business?

Yes you need to file Schedule C since you are getting paid as a self-employed worker.
If your family member paid you as an employee, they would have issued you a W-2 and they would have withheld taxes, such as FICA (Social Security) tax, from your paychecks.
If you were working as a 1099 worker, you were working as a contractor, and are therefore self-employed. You will be responsible for the taxes on that income, including self-employment tax.
To enter the 1099-MISC, type Schedule C into the search box then click the "Jump to Schedule C' link
OR
Scroll under Wages & Income to Self-Employment
With the changes of the 1099 misc, instead of doing the 1099-MISC I fill out the part with 1099-NEC if I know how much I was paid throughout the year?
