I think the 2025 CA(540NR) calculations are incorrect, what is reported on Form CA(540NR) does not translate correctly to Form 540. In other words Line 14 of 540NR shows a different dollar amount than Part II, Line 27 column B, even though they should be exact same dollar amounts. Anyone else notice it? Results are TT says I owe no CA tax for my CA income when in fact I will owe CA tax.

Yes, the amount in Line 14 of California Form 540NR should be the same as the amount in Line 27, column b in Schedule CA (540NR), which is the total subtractions for California.

I just sent a sanitized version for diagnostics. I think there are other calculation errors also in CA(540NR), such as line 2A, in addition to Line 27.
Forgot to add token number, but you state 7 digits whereas the token number I got is 16 numbers, then a hyphen, then 8 numbers.
Thank you for pointing out that the codes are now longer; I just requested a code on a test return to confirm .
For us in the Community Team to pull up the sanitized return, we need to have to code posted here in the thread.

Hmm, seems like this community forum strikes out numbers for security reasons? How best to post the token so the number appears?
Your best option is to post a screenshot of the token number. The Community safety protocols remove numbers that could be personally identifiable information.
Thank you. We will post on this thread with the results of our review.
