You should report the form 1099-MISC in the Income and Expenses section of TurboTax, then Other Common Income, then Income from form 1099-MISC.
Enter the form 1099-MISC, then on the screen that says Does one of these uncommon situations apply? choose the None of these apply option. On the next screen you will see Did the (name of payor) involve work that's like (name of taxpayer) main job? You need to answer "No" to the question. On the next screen, indicate that you only got the distribution in 2021. On the next screen, indicate that you didn't have an intent to earn money.
If you follow those steps, your income will be reported as Other Income, as opposed to self-employment income.
