I have desktop version. On 1099B download. In TT sales information review screen there is a question: "What type of investment did you sell?" The Options include: stock (non-employee) and mutual fund. The Download categorized all sales as "stock", when they are actually mutual funds. I cannot find any guidance in IRS forms or on turbo tax as to if this would cause an issue. Or can I just let it go. There are over 50 individual entries. Or is it best to just delete the download individual entries and re-enter manually in summary from my 1099B?

No, you don't have to delete anything. For tax purposes, sales of mutual funds are reported the same as sales of stock.

Thank you JulieS. I was hoping that was the case and wanted to make sure.
