I have been using Turbo Tax for 20 years.  Guess what.  Ill never use it again.  The cost is ti high and program sucks.
I’m not 100% sure, but I’m guessing if you again enter Jan 1, 2024 as the disposition dates on your husbands return, it will work.

I think there may be a difference with TurboTax this year.   I have never previously entered Box 26 before, usually leaving it 0.00.  I think TurboTax now needs that amount to calculate the CPP remittance properly.  In previous years I believe this wasn't the case.   In many cases Box 26 and Box 14 are the same.  I entered the same amount in each and the overpayment issue is resolved.     It would be good to get more confirmation from TurboTax about this situation.

How is this not fixed yet? In schedule 15, if I enter 0 in the "if you wish to claim less than maximum amount, enter it here" box, it still calculates as though I want to claim everything this year!  This is an enormous bug! I didn't realize I could override line 43 to 0 (by pressing F2).  I think so many people will accidentally deduct everything when they didn't intend to.  I hope the netfile will still work.

@TbTxWil You need to download the software, then when you start the installation, it will ask you to login.
@Quartermain5 Once you've finished your first 8 returns, you can enter your second code by selecting Tools > Licence Code Switch from the top grey menu.
Getting an error message to correct issues before proceeding, I have entered 0 as I do not have the information however it will not accept that response

If your child is filing for the first time, they won't be able to create a CRA login until they get the NOA for their first return. They can't use your account because CRA MyAccount logins are one per taxpayer. Your account is tied to your SIN number and no one else's.

It would be nice if this worked properly... the error message is so cryptic that if it wasn't for this article, I would never have resolved it.   So why do they allow the 2nd method if it doesn't work at first glance it is the intuitive way to do it?
