Update for me: So the IRS self corrected the issue and sent me a letter a couple weeks after my payemtn saying they applied the 2018 payment to my 2021 balance....

YES! Exactly. It auto selects 2018 and gives you NO other option to choose 2021. I’ve checked a bunch of times and every time I try to pay for 2021 it shows as ...
