Thanks for that but TT did calculate it in 2020. Went back and checked. Just wondering why not this year.

Yes, I agree but line "h" is the sum of boxes 1b on the 1099. So if you have let's say 3 - 1099 DIV with box 1b filled in and all of the 1099 was foreign source...
