@ellesaunders555 wrote: Thank you for responding. I efiled yesterday. The site says that my tax return has not bern received. I will wait a few days Just be sure your Tax Home in TurboTax says the Missouri return was "Accepted." If you just efiled yesterday, it may still say "Pending." Once it changes to "Accepted" (if not already), then that should mean Missouri received it and agreed to start processing it, but it will take a few days to show up in their tracker.

You should get a message. If you really only used 4 (one message you wrote said 4, and in the last one said "5 with no issue", so I assumed you efiled 5. There are occasional posts from some people who didn't get all of their 5 for some reason, or for whom a rejection counted as 1 of the 5. You can try in the morning and see what happens. Otherwise, if you still can't transmit in the morning, here's how you can reach TurboTax Support if you need additional help. They open at 5AM Pacific. https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/contact/

If you used up all your efiles, then you will indeed have to file by printing, signing, dating, and postal mailing. It's recommended to use a method with tracking. The mailing address should print out on the Filing Instructions. An alternative to USPS is a private delivery service such as FedEx, UPS, etc. which requires a special IRS address used for courier deliveries. We can tell you more if you want to go that route.

It shouldn't have anything to do with your refund. If it's accepted, your refiled return won't be late, since your resubmission is within the 5-day grace period to correct a rejected return. It should be considered timely-filed. And even if it were a late return, there would not be a penalty if one is getting a Federal refund. State rules might vary.

I did 5 returns for family members on the same system , with no issue Tried Restarting the computer Tried Restarting the program Tried Re installing Turbo Tax Got Every Update for Turbo Tax There is no VPN activated on my computers It Stalls at Transmitting Most likely too many users trying to submit returns all at once hence the SLOWNESS and Incompetence by INTUIT. Since there is no money owed I will patiently wait until tomorrow and try transmitting them again. if not I'll contact Customer service if any exists. And as a last resort I will MAIL THEM BY THE PAPER OLD SCHOOL WAY.

If you need to verify your email address or phone number in your Intuit Account, here's how: Log into your Online TurboTax account (if not already logged in.) In the left column scroll way down to Intuit Account. Once in the Intuit Account you should see a left column tab for Sign In & Security. Next to your email address and phone number there may be a little tag for each that either says "verified" or "not verified." If it says "not verified", click on that tag to verify.

What is showing at the Tax Home of your Online TurboTax account? Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or what? Did you efile? If so, how many days has it been? The Missouri Refund Tracker website says it can take up to 5 business days after efiling to show in their tool.

If you are sure you are getting a Federal refund, there is no penalty for a late Federal return. So that would avoid a late-filing penalty. State rules might vary. If you owe taxes due, however, they still had to be paid by April 15 to avoid a late-payment penalty. You asked: "how do i get a refund for this dysfunctional program?" Are you using Online TurboTax (browser version) or desktop TurboTax?

This was a very very frustrating year to use TurboTax. navigation was next to impossible. I had to use help multiple times including a phone call as well as their chat system on multiple occasions I spent 4 1/2 hours on something that should have only been one hour and 57 minutes. Cost was way more than I was expecting, and have paid many years prior past. Certainly was not happy this year complete waste of time, and I am highly considering other alternatives

Did you have to move up from Free Edition to Deluxe because of something in your return? If you don't need Deluxe, we may be able to tell you how to downgrade or remove something as long as you haven't yet paid. However, did you already efile? You mentioned the word "accepted." What does that refer to? If that refers to your efile, you should be able to see the efile status at the Tax Home. Or have you not yet submitted the return?? It's not clear from what you wrote.

@ kedavis7926 I myself am not really familiar with it. It's most likely a promotion to get you into Credit Karma. You won't need it to track your return. You can track it at the IRS or state websites. If it was me, I wouldn't do it, especially if you can continue on without it. Or are you involved with Credit Karma in another way? Are you using a refund method that uses a Credit Karma account? If so, I think it asks you to share your TurboTax information with Credit Karma, so that may be why I declined it, but I can't remember for sure. Without seeing it, it's hard to guess what all you are being presented about Credit Karma and why.
