You do not have a "customer file number."  If you used an online account to file your return then you need to use the account recovery tool to find your return if you forgot how to access your TurboTax account.

What exactly are you trying to do?

If you are trying to track your federal refund, you need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20a of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

There is no such thing as  a "customer file number." 

@Rtuivaiti       There is no such thing as a customer file number, so not sure what you are trying to do.    Do you just want a copy of your 2019 return?

 

 

  You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !

 

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records.  That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.
