Are they looking to open a new TT account (FAQ)? Are they looking to start a new return? (FAQ) If not either, could you provide more information for us to help you better?

I want to start a new tax return.

    To start a new return, you can use the clear and start over feature as long as you didn't submit payment or deduct the TurboTax fee from your refund.
