The questions about “stimulus checks” are beginning after a press conference that just happened on 3-17-2020. So far this is a proposal that has not been finalized or voted on by Congress. Please be patient until there is actual information to provide to you. We cannot tell you if you will get a check, when you will get a check or how much it will be for. No one knows yet.
I haven’t filed my returns since I started my SS as it is my only income. How will that affect my stimulus money? Can I not get it because of that?
Unfortunately, this is too new a topic and the how-to part of it has not been entirely worked out. Congress passes a law and then someone has to figure out how to implement it.
While you can't file a return with TurboTax with zero income, you can download a 1040 from the IRS, fill it out and mail it.
In the meantime, please see this Help article.
How are my taxes affected by COVID-19?
The Treasury announced, at the direction of the President, that the federal tax deadline is extended to July 15, 2020.
Taxpayers getting a refund are encouraged to file their taxes now as the IRS expects to continue to process refunds as normal. TurboTax is open and ready to help you easily and accurately file your taxes.
Federal tax payments have also been deferred, interest and penalty free, for 90 days, until July 15. Individuals and self-employed taxpayers can defer up to $1 million for tax year 2019 federal tax payments. This deferment also applies to tax year 2020 estimated tax payments previously due on April, 15, 2020. Corporations can defer up to $10 million in federal payments.
Most states will conform with the new federal deadline of July 15. Check yours to see if their deadline has changed.
Will I have to pay penalties now that the filing deadline is extended?
Does this apply only to Tax Year 2019? What if I owe for previous years?
Will COVID-19 delay my refund?
Does the COVID-19 outbreak qualify as a natural disaster on 2019 taxes?
How does this impact quarterly estimated taxes?
Can I access a sick family member’s TurboTax account to help them prepare their return?
I can’t go to my usual tax preparer because of a city-wide shutdown. Can TurboTax Live help me?
My question is I used y'all for my direct deposit. Will the IRS use y'all for a 3rd party to do the direct deposit.?
The details of that are unknown at this time. The last time stimulus checks went out (2008), if your last refund was routed thru a third party (such as TPG to pay TurboTax fees) you got a paper stimulus check. The Senate-passed legislation gives the government more options for direct deposit, such as the account used for either 2018 or 2019 refunds or for certain regular Federal payments (such as Social Security or Federal paychecks). Still, there are no details on how third-party direct deposits will be handled. Stay tuned...
The stimulus bill is not yet final. However, as it passed the Senate the IRS will use SSA-1099 & RRB-1099 data to identify eligible taxpayers who did not file 2018 & 2019 returns, as well as pay the stimulus by direct deposit to the same account you use for Social Security, etc.; thus you should still get a check. (Again, this isn't final.)

Do I get my stimulas check through TurboTax
No. It is sent directly to you, either as a direct deposit to your bank account or as a check mailed to your address.
How do I do this? Does the IRS have my direct Depot info?
Yes i got my tax check from the tax people so i want know if my stimulus check goin be mailed to me.
Will my stimulus refund be direct - deposited on my turbo card?
IRS is reporting now that stimulus payments will be mailed as a check or direct deposited to a bank account. Card accounts are not an option at this time. However there may be a chance to add a bank account for stimulus payments in the future. Here is a page to monitor as the IRS works on a portal solution to add banking information.

How do i go about trying to get my stimulus check.
@Traviswhite8988 Your question does not make clear what stimulus check(s) you are asking about. If you did not receive the 1st or 2nd checks you can use the recovery rebate credit on your 2020 tax return.
The stimulus check is an advance on a credit you can receive on your 2020 tax return. If something went wrong or you did not get the stimulus check in 2020, you can get it when you file your 2020 return in early 2021
The Recovery Rebate Credit will be found in the FEDERAL REVIEW section. ( you should see "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount”) If you are eligible it will end up on line 30 of your 2020 Form 1040.
Make sure that you enter ALL of the stimulus money received for the 1st and 2nd stimulus for yourself, your spouse and your children.

TurboTax cannot track your 3rd stimulus or tell you when it will arrive. The IRS is issuing 3rd stimulus checks on its own timetable.
You can use the IRS Get My Payment site to see what is expected for your 3rd stimulus check:

To receive any missed stimulus payments from rounds one/two (1200/600) you need to file a 2020 tax return. Any round one and/or two stimulus payments that you are eligible for but have not received yet will be added to your tax return as a Recovery Rebate Credit.
Here is a link with more information on the Recovery Rebate Credit. You can start your tax return for free here.
Once your 2020 tax return is processed and that indicates you are eligible for the third round payment (1400), that payment will be sent separately but in the same way you indicated you wanted to receive your tax refund (check, debit card, direct deposit).
Here is more information on the third round of payments.
Hey I need to get all 3 of my stimulus check! I didn’t get any of them
You will need to file a 2020 income tax return as outlined by DMarkM1 above. This will allow you to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit if you were entitled to the stimulus payments. The credit is based upon your actual 2020 income tax return.
Please see the attached link for more information on who can claim the credit.
Recovery Rebate Credit eligibility
As far as the third stimulus payments, the IRS will use the information from the latest filed tax return.
Please see the links below for additional guidance from the IRS.
