Yes, many are disappointed when they purchase a CD (when they don't have a CD drive) expecting a download code to be in the box like other programs these days. One year TT will get up to speed and provide the code.

Another quicker method is to use another computer to copy the installation files from the CD Rom to a flash/thumb/usb drive, then insert that drive into the first computer and install from the flash/thumb/usb drive. Do not try to run the install file from the removable medium.

I have a license code from my purchase of turbo tax deluxe
@stlouispark160 Did you install the program on your computer? From the CD or Download? You can not use the License Code for the Online version. After you install the program it will ask you to Activate it by entering the License Code.

There should be a card in the CD case that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.
