How to remove Turbo Tax Live. There are 2 ways depending on how you got into LIVE.

@VolvoGirl Did you see that they are marketing "Live" on Amazon and other retailer sites this year---just wait for the confusion.....

Yes ... the online LIVE starts monday ... hang onto your hat.  Not sure what good live will be when the program is not yet fully functional   AND  note it is non refundable !!!

And isn't there going to be a Live for the Desktop program?  Or was I just confused because they are selling LIVE for Online at retail?  Wonder what's the point or advantage of selling Live retail instead of just adding it on at TT?

I cannot ever see how they can add LIVE to the desktop program since the experts cannot access a user's computer and if it was me I would not do it... too much possibility for issues to become lawsuits.

@Critter-3 They are not adding "Live" to desktop.  They are marketing online "Live" on retail sites.  Look on Amazon or Costco.  The pricing is different--the online Live includes a state--unlike the pricing with TT in which users pay extra for state.  Imagine the confusion that is coming at us very soon.

Yes I understand ... just a comment about the downloaded version to the other post.

Look at the pricing again ... amazon online SE version is now $220 includes a state  ... TT online SE is now $170 + $50 state = $220 ... so now the prices are the same however what will happen later when TT removes the discount.

The pricing is pretty comparable  before the discounts disappear.  Costco is a bit lower...(for now?)  But the pricing that includes a state from a retailer, but not with TT......and the other limitations of using online......I think we had better fasten our seatbelts.

This is such an unbeliveable scam. I can't believe they can actually get away with tricking people into using the LIVE product. 12-year customer here who will never be using Turbotax again.
