In order to recover your account through the account recovery page, you will need to provide either your phone number(recommended), email address, or User ID. Please refer to the following page to recover your account in TurboTax. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302318

What a great way to ask for help.  Calling the folks who can assist you a**holes.

Try This -

You have to sign onto your online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the online account.

Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one).  Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.

Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address.  Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery

If none of the user ID's received will access your account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

To access your prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

See this TurboTax support FAQ for accessing prior year online tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/270...

If you still cannot access your account, you can contact TurboTax customer service/support through their contact website during business hours.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for a contact link and hours of operation - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3401489

Submit your question/problem during business hours and then use the option for Call (a phone number will be provided for Call) to speak directly with a TurboTax agent -

Note:  The Call option will not be available when TurboTax Support is closed.

Support can also be reached by messaging them on these pages https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax

We are volunteers here who do not need to have profanity hurled at us.  You posted here to the community.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

Be sure to update your browser, as well as check for any updates within your computer. Sometimes a Windows update can cause things to appear to need an update.

Another trick that can normally work, is to be sure and clear the cookies and cache on your browser, then restart a new browser after things are cleared.

For years Turbo Tax has done my Taxes . This year I tried to log onto my account and it is INPOSSIBLE, you have changed everything. I have Google Chrome on my computer. It always goes to the page update your browser. I have tried about a dozen times to log into my account. I am giving up, I am honestly going to find another company to do my taxes. I like Turbo Tax but I am sorry, I need to get my taxes done but not by Turbo Tax. Good By

I have been using turbo tax for 10 years and have never had an issue until now. Just spent an hour updating browsers cleaning cookies and caches and still can’t get into my account. Not sure what to do at this point

You may contact customer care here if you continue to have this issue. Please first make sure you are using the same USER ID and Password that you have used in the past.

The email address you have in your history file was corrupted and I no longer use it. That's the problem. Please let me set up a whole new account. Reply to email: [email address removed]

If you work through the prompts regarding what to do if you don't remember your user name or password you should be able to log in. You can contact TurboTax for help if that does not work for you as follows:

I have used Turbotax in 2018 to file for tax return. Unfortunately I don't have access to that email due fact forget my password. I'm currently doing 2019 taxes and want to upload my 2018 tax return.
