2019 AGI I filed doesn’t match what the IRS has according to TurboTax so rifle is rejected. I looked it up on the IRS website and it’s correct.

2019 AGI was requested for if security. This is wrong.

See this TurboTax FAQ on how to find your AGI

You can get free 2019 tax transcript from the IRS

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

If you filed late last year there is a good chance that the 2019 AGI never was entered into the e-file database. Try using 0 (zero) for the AGI.

If you filed an amended return use the AGI on the first filed tax return.

If it continues to reject then the AGI in the IRS database might be in error. Mail filing is the only option.

When did you file 2019? If it was late in the year or you mailed it, try putting in 0 (zero) for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-getting-an-e-file-reject/00/27031

How to correct the AGI

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Yes the 2019 AGIs don’t match. Now I must find how to file electronically and according to Turbo it’s happened but the IRS doesn’t acknowledge this yet. Keep checking.

E-filing your 2020 tax return: To e-file you will need to enter your AGI from your tax year 2019 tax return.  If your 2019 return has not yet been processed, you may enter $ 0 (zero) as your prior year Adjusted Gross Income.

I have the exact same problem.  Before I discovered this Q&A section of TurboTax, I mailed my returns in.  Now I just need to know how to get a state e-filing refund.

In short, some of the answers that you need have already been provided.  I'm not sure if they will work but it is worth a try.  Good luck.

@jccbone62 Do you mean you paid to e-file a state return using desktop software?
