I don't have enough information about your situation (e.g. if you are collecting GST), therefore unable to provide more info. Sharing link to understand all about GST filing, hope this is helpful.  : https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/businesses/topics/gst-hst-businesses/complete-file-return-business/file-return.html

Le sommaire détaillé Québec devrait vous aider à visualiser cette explication.   N'ayant pas accès à vos données, il m'est impossible de vérifier plus précisément. Bonne journée

Hey @mackbratosh, The CRA's Goal is to send you a notice of assessment, as well as any refund, within: two weeks, when you file online eight weeks, when you file a paper return 16 weeks, when you file a non-resident return However your specific return time may vary and is not guaranteed, and so the CRA will not always meet their stated goal. Here's an article with more details on the CRA's Goals for return time where you can read more, including information on how you can check the current status of your return.

If you entered all of the information from your slips and it shows $3000 in the taxes owed section of your screen then that is what you still owe. Check your T4 slips to see what it shows that you have paid (as deductions by your employer). It is possible that your employer didn't deduct any tax, or that you haven't entered the numbers for tax already deducted by your employer.  Also make sure that you have entered the slips for the tuition tax credits.

Hi @terryp623 Good morning! If the RRSP limit for 2024 is showing as added to your current RRSP contributions despite making zero contributions, here are the most likely reasons: 1. RRSP Contribution Room: The system might be showing the maximum contribution limit for 2024, not actual contributions. This is simply your available room to contribute, not an amount you’ve already contributed. 2. Unused Contribution Room: If you had unused RRSP room from previous years, it can carry forward and add to your current available room for 2024, which may cause the full limit to show. Please check if its getting deducted in summary . In short, the RRSP limit represents your potential contribution room, not actual contributions made. Hope this helps.

If your T4A slip includes income reported under Box 10 in the "Other Information" section, it's essential to determine the specific code associated with that amount. Each code corresponds to a different type of income, and the reporting requirements vary accordingly. CRA link for reference :Canada.ca Steps to Report Box 10 Income: Identify the Code: Locate the code next to the amount in Box 10 on your T4A slip. This code indicates the type of income. Determine the Reporting Line: Refer to the CRA's guidelines to find the appropriate line on your tax return for the specific code. For instance, certain codes correspond to income that should be reported on Line 13000 (Other Income), while others may be reported on different lines. Enter the Amount: Once you've identified the correct line, enter the amount from Box 10 on that line of your tax return.
Hello,   You can search for a T777 which will lead you through the experience to claim your T2200

The ``agent`` said this was a question for tex experts and hung up. I`m pretty sure it is that I do not know how the program here handles these things. If doing a joint return, do I fill this on on both persons returns, or is 50% split indication at the bottom ok? I found this, but I have no idea if it is correct due to the 'agent' I spoke with briefly...... If you're reporting a capital gain from a T-slip (T3, T5, T5008, etc.), enter the full amount in the boxes as per your slip, and enter your percentage at the bottom of the slip. Your spouse’s return should also report the full amount from the slip, and their own percentage.

Hello, Sorry to hear that you have not received your refund yet. There are many factors due to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) processing times.  The CRA's goal is to send you a notice of assessment, as well as any refund, within: two weeks, when you file online eight weeks, when you file a paper return 16 weeks, when you file a non-resident return Why you have not received your refund The CRA may keep all or part of your refund if you have: an amount owing (or pending amount owing) a garnishment order under the Family Orders and Agreements Enforcement Assistance Act certain other outstanding federal, provincial or territorial government debts, such as student loans, employment insurance (EI) and social assistance benefit overpayments, immigration loans or training allowance overpayments any outstanding GST/HST returns from a sole proprietorship or partnership a refund of $2 or less For more details or information on this and processing times with the CRA visit the following link: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/refunds.html
