I purchased and installed new windows and doors in 2024 but did not take the Energy Credit. The Manufacturer qualified for the Energy Star program, but did not qualify for the changes made in 2025. Turbo tax is forcing a QMID number for the doors and windows, but I do not have one because they no longer qualify under the new guidelines. Do I have to submit a corrected 2024 tax return or is there a workaround? Thanks.
