My son did a study abroad program at the University of Galway. It was an

I have inputed 1099-Q and 1099-T, but the screen a screen that asks:
"Did [Child's Name] pay for books or materials to attend school?" never
showed up. As a consequence, i cannot input the "Room and board" . how
to make it to show this screen/section...read more
It allows books and supplies to be entered if charged by the
institution, and indicates other expenses can be entered later, but it
never then prompts for other expenses before moving out of the 1098-T
and 1099-Q sections in the online version.
I am yet another customer experiencing the issue described here. I would
very much appreciate a timeframe for a resolution, and a description as
to what the resolution will be so I can decide if I should stick with TT
or try a different company.
My son lives off campus and my understanding is I can use his 529 to pay
for rent/food up to the published cost of attendance at the school he
attends. I don't see where to enter this information in TurboTax 2025

There only seems to be an option for expenses paid to the school, with a
note that other expenses would be added later, without actually allowing
me to add them at any later point.
